Many of the great pianists who now perform at Hurstwood Farm Piano Studios do so at reduced, or sometimes without, fee. This enables us to devote surplus funds to sponsorship of young artists. Sponsorship is given in many ways. We offer free recording facilities to some. We arrange and sponsor recitals for others, and on occasions we present young artists ourselves alongside the famous grand masters - always giving a generous fee to the young artist even though most would play for nothing. We have established our own Young Maestro's label which has received great acclaim. To do this we have purchased some of the finest recording equipment for piano that is available anywhere. It is, however, very specific to piano recording.
